Grasshoppers are ties on a size 8 hook. These are high floating flies made from EVA foam, and dear hair. Panfish and bass love these because they imitate a high protein easy meal. If you want to have custom colors made, please reach out.
Recommended Technique:
Using a 2wt or larger, casting towards shore or structure. When the fly hits the water, allow the water to settle for a moment than begin to twitch the hopper.
This fly works well as a float for nymphs also as a hopper dropper set up.
