Recommended technique:
Size 2 will work best with a 6wt rod, and a size 8 will work well with a 4 wt. These cicadas are a large top water fly that was designed based of of observing the Brood X hatch of 2021. Cast these towards shore, and give very light twitches. These flies have successfully taken Bass, and Panfish using this technique.
