6'6" BFS Ultra Light Finesse Baitcaster
This rod is a 6’6” Fast action Ultra-Light built to be able to cast lures in the range of .88-5.3 gram (1/32 3/16oz). We hunted down components to make a versatile BFS rod that feels great in the hand, can cast these light lures on 2-6lb test. The rod is put together with 12 guides, plus the tip top to ensure that under load the line does not rub on the blank which can be a common issue when using light baitcasting rods. These guides use a Zirconia ring which is able to be thinner than modern ceramic rings. This helps to keep this rod at 102grams (3.5 ounces). The grip set up is a split grip to keep weight down, and made of EVA to help prevent Fatigue while on the water. From the end of rod to the reel seat trigger is 12” to make the rod lock under your for arm for more leverage during fights.
