MHX rod blanks are designed with the angler that needs versatility in mind. built using Toray 12K Intermediate modulus Fiber of 45 million modulus with 853 ksi and a Hardened Resin System, MHX was able to use their most popular Mag Taper blanks and recreate them with true Extra Fast tip flex tapers, for those who demand this specific type of action. these are one piece blanks, in slate color. Handles can be EVA or Cork, and are both offered in split grip, or full grip. Full grip lengths are- 10” rear grip and 2” fore grip. Split grip size is- 3.87” rear and 2” fore grip with 6” spacing between the rear grip and fighting butt. Guides that are used on these rods are black CRB LZR, which are designed to be able to help cast long distances accurately and handle braid, mono, or fluro. Once the rod is added to the cart, thread color choices and reel seat color will be available for selection. Additional thread colors may be available. Lead time varies based on availability and backlog of rods. typical turn over is 4 weeks from time of order. Rod blanks may be painted for an additional charge.
